@GregJacksonII@Jomboy_ Picking up your pivot foot is in no way against the rules.
It becomes a travel if you pick up your pivot foot and put it back down before releasing the ball.
@BnPBrooks@ChrisVannini Scrimmage kick formation is defined by the rule book and grants extra protection to the long snapper and allows the numbering exception to have coverage players take the place of players numbered 50-79 on the LOS.
That excuse wouldn't fly.
@Pattypockets1@JayPops5 It's made the training videos a few times, but teams have stopped doing the worst of the "sniper plays". Very few teams are going down after the ball spot, which is when there's a penalty to enforce.
@MuricanPatr1ot@SCarson53@DisrespectedThe It appears there's a trailer park or similar behind the business. Or there could be housing on the side of the road where the camera is at, with the kids needing to cross due to the direction of the bus. Both are totally valid reasons to stop here.
@rodger Clay Martin got lucky last year that the first penalty was a false start.
But good on Hochuli for building on that with more than just fehlstart.
@Ry_chav@SickosCommittee Commentators are wrong. A snap while officials aren't in position is not legal.
Rule 2-2-4 A dead ball is ready for play when:... a. ...an official places the ball... and is in position to officiate.
Rule 4-1-4 No player shall put the ball in play before it is ready for play.
@RealGarrettCarr@rodger They aren't the same. HS hashes are wider. You'll see double marked fields at times.
College is 60 ft from the sideline, HS is 53 ft 4 inches (though legal to play NFHS on a pro or college marked field)
@tommycap4@schwokk@rodger Does that apply to the guaranteed host slot in 2028? I definitely get that we couldn't do it in 2032, but if the NBA hosted a 3x3 play in event for everyone that didn't make the main team directly after the finals, would that be allowed?
@nicktehwalrus@nxtprodigy Pace making would be something like a little submarine going back and forth on the bottom helping them set a certain speed that would guarantee they made good time but without running out of energy. (Like the "marathon under 2 hours" isn't a record because a car was pacesetting
