@mattsclancy@MishaTeplitskiy But it makes perfect sense. At the beginning one seeks for overview, for connections, related papers & general understanding. Intro & discussion are important at this. For the methods one uses anyways the ones established in the lab. Only later focus switches.

This case of PhD/PI power abuse is extreme. Reading the article is at times sickening (it is in Spanish, u can use translator tools to get what happened there). It's painful that this happened in the same building, at the same time, where we did our PhDs. Glad brave ppl spoke up
