Israel is tanking globally!
Across the 36 countries, a median of 67% of adults have an unfavorable view of Israel, while 25% have a favorable view.
In Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain, around half of adults or more say they have a very unfavorable view of the country.
It has been an incredible two years for Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman. He left behind a comfortable retired life in the U.S. to help his country navigate an incredibly challenging international environment after the fall of the Hasina dictatorship.
Khalil brushed aside personal attacks and kept focused on building and consolidating support for the country’s democratic transition. Now he has been elected President of the UN General Assembly. This is a fitting recognition off an incredibly productive period for Bangladeshi diplomacy and is a feather in his and the BNP government’s caps.
Well done.
Khalilur Rahman of Bangladesh has been elected President of the General Assembly for its upcoming 81st session.
“I will dedicate myself to rebuilding trust, nurturing consensus, and opening space for good faith negotiations,” he pledged.
