The spatial analysis by distance indices (SADIE) quantify spatial patterns by calculating the distance to regularity. It has found use in #plantpathology and modifications were proposed by @TheLarryMadden and @XiangmingXu1 . This animation helps to illustrate the concept.
For repetitive tasks, people suggest writing a function. I'm loving embedding those functions into R Shiny apps to speed up my analyses and reports of both individual (anova) and multi-location (meta-analysis) fungicide trials! #PlantDisease#DataScience#RStats#ShinyApps
