As a relatively tall person I hate wearing trousers that are too short as I grew out of them so quickly for periods as I child so err on being too long. I suspect the opposite influence here, but find sympathy difficult.
@alexhallhall Amongst other things, correct the penultimate sentence to clarify that it leaves the British government less sovereign over its own territory than it was before brexit.
.@elonmusk is attacking our board one by one. First @Kasparov63; now @AVindman. The thing they both have in common: bravery & a desire to do the right thing. We’re proud to stand by them & hope Elon goes after dictators with the same zeal he has for RDI board members.
@Feargal_Sharkey@MartinSLewis I had similar offers, strikes me that there could be another mis-selling scandal coming up. They don’t mention the price cap is significantly less if you just don’t sign up, but talk up the risk if further increases.. ..
18/ The use of social media, showing off Russian deficiencies, has magnified this moral corrosion. The corrosion in morale has resulted in declining battlefield discipline, with Russian desertions, battlefield refusals and – horribly – frequent war crimes.
🇺🇦 Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s president, has demanded EU candidacy status for his war-torn country and a package of sanctions against Russia ahead of Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz’s visit to Kyiv https://t.co/r5F0whAOS9
PM has had to deal with the greatest challenges of any peace time leader. He delivered Brexit; led us through the pandemic/a global leading vaccination programme & is leading support for Ukraine.I am backing @BorisJohnson
to get on with the job he was democratically elected to do
If the Conservatives say they have confidence in Johnson, it will tie the whole party to his crimes and cover-ups.
It will signal that the party is simply a vehicle for Johnson’s relentless self-serving immorality.
Oh dear Michelle, that was the last memo you’re repeating, and it’s still tosh.. No big calls right, by you or the PM.. Johnson didn’t, and won’t help the economy, cost of living, or Ukraine. Manifesto commitments treated as disposable anyway, but mostly the wrong ones..
A leadership election won’t help the economy, won’t help us tackle the cost of living, wont help us to defend Ukraine or deliver on our manifesto committments. Boris has proven he can do this. 1/3
Brass neck. Most were aware, just not the ones that actuality voted for what was promised in Brexit. Even many that voted for it did so because they were lied to about what it was and it’s implications. What’s happening is closer to what was dismissed as Project fear?
With hindsight the ‘oven ready’ Withdrawal Agreement and NI Protocol that the Foreign Secretary and a majority of current Members of Parliament voted for in December 2019 needed a bit of ‘de-Frosting’ before it was cooked! 1/2
As Boris Johnson threatens to break an international treaty he negotiated, signed & fought a general election on everyone needs to watch this shocking & damning compilation
It should be shown on every UK news channel

Can they do this with Government Ministers? Or will they try to rely on what Michael Gove does of a morning interview? - Scientists bring dead eyes back to life - The Telegraph https://t.co/bucAnUdLVP
@easyjet can you advise please, you have cancelled our flights, we have taken up your rebooking offer to a different day. We had paid for extra legroom seats that have been lost in the change and the site is trying to charge more again to change the seats. Please advise.
