Excited for my daughter Jane as she made the AAA Ohio Blue Jackets! It seems like yesterday she was tip toeing onto the ice during Learn to Play w/the Flyers to now toe dragging with the CBJ. Mom & Dad are very proud & impressed w/the hard work she’s put in to reach her goals.

@billmeltzer I applaud Briere & Co on the OS. They should always exhaust every avenue on ways to improve the roster. Was hopeful ANA wouldn’t match, but they had to. Will be interesting to follow how ANA retains the rest of their prospects. A good problem to have!

@Boddy604 And PHL can choose not to match & ANA loses their draft capital. There is a mechanism at work here that is punitive to the team that tenders the offer sheet. PHL, (and likely others with Mintyukov) are simply taking advantage of ANA strong young talent pool & poor cap management.

Just watched about 10 mins of @sixers playoff game. The @NBA is a horrible product. The officiating is a joke and it has lead to the players embarrassing themselves and ultimately disrespecting the game.
