@APNews FFS, would it have been so hard to write something like “Mistaken for gate crashers, invited guests to Space Force detained.”
Heck, replace “detained” with “held at gun point” and it would still be 1000% less despicable.
@ChadMoriyama He can with a 9-run lead! And when else can he give him a chance to get right… or at least get better? 🤷🏼♂️
And Diaz should be grateful for the mop-up opportunities.
@Kazanjy Perhaps this will take the stigma off two years of CC then xfer to UC. Of course, that path is no longer as certain as it once was and is likely to be further diminished if UC chancellors don’t pull their heads out their a$$es.
@Chicago_LMAC Dodger fan… at least by my own admission.
You’re being generous by considering them second best.
I personally don’t understand the obligation to show up when the team clearly isn’t. 🤷🏼♂️
Fair weather fan, maybe. But who pays for sh*tty products??? (I’ll just watch at home.)
Roki wants to be great so bad. He empties the tank on every start.
The Dodgers have filled their roster with so many established stars, it's fun to see a young talented player that hasn't figured it all out yet. The ace ceiling is still there.
No engagement with the arrant lies, the massive plagiarism, the airy public addresses. Kendi thinks all of that is okay if you're Black (and have dreadlocks) and that Arday was still a legitimate academic seized upon because of his color.
Kendi thinks Blackness exempts one from amassing data, drawing connections, and presenting novel insights. You're the real thing in just showing racism exists, despite that this is a rote exercise. We don't have to be actually smart, and in fact shouldn't (too "Western"). We are authentic in eternally "contesting."
That take is deep if you (have dreadlocks and) changed your name to Kendi.
Note that he seems not to have worked out at the Atlantic, and publishes this soapbox performance art somewhere you're a little surprised a public "intellectual" of his status would choose.
I wish Arday were alive. But this take on Arday as lynched is performance art. American academia should hesitate to embrace it.
