@GeneralsUpdates It's not in the player's best interest but wouldn't Brampton be better off waiting to declare him as non-reporting so they get another pick next year in addition to the picks they'd get from Sudbury?
@LilyCGuiney@TonyPaul1984 Most "up north" courses are cut through the woods and many don't return to the clubhouse after 9 which I think is pretty typical for a pro tournament. Most tournaments also send groups off of #1 and #10 on Thurs/Fri so it wouldn't make sense for that either
@GeneralsUpdates Correct but sheesh, I thought it was only the western conference fans who were still salty about us winning the bid to host and winning the tournament.
@BenjaminNething@youstolemine86 That's what I did before...put that on my grill grates. I got a travel rolling blackstone as a gift and it's very easy to roll out and clean when I use it.
@kennyjacoby Stay to play is the absolute worst...just charge more for the tournament registration...you're dealing with booking engines that look like they were created on a GeoCities or MySpace page and if you have to cancel a night or stay God help you.
@WoodsBrent64106@MikeJohnstonHC Of course it is...they're 3-4 years older. The average age in the OHL is 18-19. The average age in NCAA is 21-23

@HarryLime853795@GeneralsUpdates Not going to lie, as the seconds ticked away in last night's game I was a little thankful that the forgotten player wouldn't go down in history being part of 3 straight championships and 3 Memorial Cups.
@SteveMcLean888 Since you're a Guelph fan I'm sure you're remembering Ivan Prosvetov getting 5 games in the playoffs for hitting a puck into the crowd. I don't see how this is any less dangerous...plus we were up 2-0 in the conference finals and it cost us a trip to the championship series.
@dom_vacca@JoePompliano You can't use someone's trademarks or a variation of them without their permission. The map and flag logo is clearly a variation on the Masters so if they don't have permission to use it, they'll get a cease and desist.

@dom_vacca@JoePompliano Nope...they're very protective of their branding. It would not surprise me if they end up paying all of the Ai companies to not allow their image to be rendered by any of the photo generating software.
@DSkaradzinski@ShaneRyanHere There are only so many spots you can cut pins on these greens without it turning into a "greenskeepers revenge" type of tournament. They could certainly mix around the days spots but I think they're comfortable watching the normal Sunday positions.
@SamQuinnCBS There's lots of team golf just not a lot at the pro level. PGA does RyderCup and LIV has their teams.
At the amateur/club level the majority of events are scrambles, best-balls, ABCD and other types of partner/team events. Medal (stroke) play events are much less frequent.
@getsharkproof@WifiMoneyPlant I did this with an engagement ring 20yrs ago...surprised the heck out of them when I walked up to the register and said I changed my mind, I'll just pay for it all now. Honored the negotiated finance price.
@mattyoungsports @GeneralsUpdates @archjrinsider @OHLHockey@Dillon_Clark19 is a direct emp. of the Spirit & while he certainly cares much more about the team, he's an absolute pro on the broadcast & always tries to stay unbiased. He's always going to give the Saginaw skew because that's his day2day but he knows the OHL as well as anyone.
@TidalTrump@CoachForGov NFL players can't get out of their contract if a coach is fired, why should the "student-athletes"...their professors didn't leave.
@MarkSeidel Thanks for making my day mentioning @SpiritHockey in this group. For so many years we were on the coaching carousel and we couldn't to get players to come here. Now after 25 years we're mentioned in the same breath as the big dogs in the league! #GreatDay
