Codex feels less like “AI that writes code” and more like “AI that owns a task”
GPT 5.6 Sol is the first model where I regularly stop thinking about prompts and start thinking about outcomes
A few things that surprised me:
• Better at navigating large codebases without getting lost
• Less eager to generate code, more willing to investigate first
• Stronger judgment on tradeoffs and architecture decisions
• Actually useful for debugging instead of just suggesting random fixes
The biggest shift isn’t coding speed
It’s reducing context-switching
For the first time, I can hand off a problem instead of individual instructions
The rich get richer and the multi-billion corps just got their hands on the cheat codes 💀 Meanwhile the rest of us are still out here fighting for scraps lol
Since June 12, we’ve been working closely with the US government to restore access to Claude Mythos 5 and Fable 5. Today, the government notified us that Mythos 5, our strongest cybersecurity model, can be redeployed to a set of US organizations that operate and defend critical infrastructure.
We’re restoring access for these organizations quickly, and we’re continuing to work with the government to expand access to Mythos 5 and make Fable 5 available for general use again.
This one's personal.
At Anby, each of us takes a product and runs with it. AI Meeting is mine - from scrappy v0 internal tool to the launch you're seeing today.
Months of nights and weekends. One ship button. Let's see what you think.

Your team had 14 meetings this week.
How many turned into something real?
Introducing AI Meeting - the layer beneath the words
→ Auto-joins Zoom, Meet,..
→ Knows who's speaking, by voice ID
→ Turns conversations → summary, tasks,...
→ Native to Claude, ChatGPT

Give it a try, and you’ll instantly see why. ❤️🔥
From a Singaporean Minister’s DIY AI to Hanoi’s Local Builders: The Tech Landscape is Moving Faster Than We (or I) Think 🚀
Reflecting on the @aiDotEngineer conference in Singapore and the "Build Stuffs" workshop in Hanoi last weekend, one thing is clear: the decentralization of AI is already here.
In Singapore, I was blown away by Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs. Instead of macro-policy, this former eye surgeon shared how he "vibecoded" his own AI agent, running locally on a dusty 8GB Raspberry Pi, to handle the massive cognitive load of diplomacy.
His core message: AI's real value doesn't just lie in Big Tech's trillion-dollar models. It lives on the ground, when ordinary people optimize their own daily workflows.
I caught myself thinking: "I wish Vietnam had this kind of vibe and top-down support."
But in Hanoi, I realized we already do. At a local AI Builder event, 80-90% of attendees were non-tech (business managers, psychology majors) using AI to code apps for their specific needs. No formal coding courses, just immediate problem-solving.
What’s more, this had government backing. Hosted at the "Hanoi Innovation Hub," the city recently published major civic challenges, openly inviting external builders to solve them.
This shift is exactly why I’m building @anby_ai .
Most companies are still stuck on basic Q&A. We want to unlock deeper workflows. Every organization holds meetings, but crucial context vanishes the second people leave the room. ANBY AI Meeting captures and structures that mess, creating a standardized context so other AI Agents can seamlessly step in and take action.
When AI is this smart and accessible, anyone can solve their own pain points. Who knows, maybe somewhere out there, grandparents are vibecoding a genealogy website right now! :v

@ycombinator Ran Paxel to check my AI coding habits… and immediately
panicked — I'd leaked my Claude API key multiple times 😅
Had to build something about it: `shhh`
👉 https://t.co/JA74Bhf0Qr
Running Paxel to analyze my AI usage and realized I had leaked my Claude API key multiple times before 😬 So I built `shhh` - a tool to keep your secrets safe.
Check it out: https://t.co/6xWnxZ6HcG
If you usually send the API key to Claude Code and tell it to just do it, you better scan your entire conversation folder and remove them before running this.
