Happy Friday! We are so fortunate to work with an amazing team of lab technicians and managers, post docs and MDs from around the world. We have exciting projects coming your way 🧠🧪🧬🧫
On this day in 1951, Henrietta Lacks died.
Her cells were taken without her knowledge in 1951 (HeLa cells) and became one of the most important tools in medicine. They became vital for developing the polio vaccine, cloning, gene mapping, in vitro fertilization & more.

Our phenomenal research team is comprised of PhDs, MDs, BS, MS, and many other walks of life, all united with the goal of abolishing ovarian cancer. Our research spans from the OR to the lab bench. The limit does not exist!
On today's #MeettheteamMonday, we introduce you to Hunter Green, Senior Research Technician in our renowned lab run by Dr. Britta Weigelt. Hunter works closely with our fellows and attendings on a myriad of ovarian cancer experiments
Happy Trans Day of Visibility! 👁️🔭🐆⚛️
From wildlife camouflage to telescope engineering, visibility and invisibility spark our curiosity and define the questions we can ask as scientists. Trans scientists, tell us your favorite visibility facts! #TDOV 🌈
ATTN: Researchers interested in studying trans health/wellbeing (or anything trans). Did you know that a lot of awesome folks (many of them trans and researchers themselves) have put together a bunch of tools and guidelines to help you do this better?
