@TinkerSec Wasn't Twitter moving to E2EE by default for DMs (talking long before the Musk descended)? Did that never happen? Or am I just hallucinating that it was ever a serious effort in the first place?
@AlyssaM_InfoSec I do woodworking on the side, so I was thinking of an entirely different kind of plane until I hit the third sentence - then I was just very confused for longer than I care to admit!! 😵💫
@grizzlypanduh Did it at a summer science camp.
Other classes in my school did it, but if I hadn't chosen to go to that camp one summer I never would have. So yes it happens, but it's not as universal as Hollywood implies
Waited over half an hour before finding out that someone @McDonalds had "deleted a bunch of orders" and no one could be bothered to tell any of the dozen+ people waiting for their food. This is why people eat @Wendys!
@gabsmashh I created a tiny human being.
I also got married, bought a house, got fired, and finally landed a cybersecurity position.
But pretty sure all of that pales in comparison to my baby...
@HydeNS33k You prolly already know this, but:
2-3 paper coffee cups, with a lid on top, to the casual observer won't be noticed. Eschew the sleeve so that if challenged, you can just say they were out of sleeves. Different name on each cup, so you can quickly swap identities.
@IAmInertiaGG My workout is my commute, plus a walk on my lunch hour. Social life was already a thing of the past, wife does probably 65-75% of the cooking. Adding a kid has just cemented "no social life", tho did take away my LEGO time (still have an unopened Lunar Lander set...)
@DynamicWebPaige Fantasy: The Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher
Sci-Fi: The Forever War remains a favorite of mine, military fiction meets hard(ish) sci-fi. And in a similar vein (albeit soft sci-fi), The Conquerors Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, which uniquely presents both sides of the conflict.
