In 2014, Russia invaded Ukraine.
The whole world was so afraid of Russia, so they decided to buy into the “rebels” and “civil war” story, even though it was obvious that miners-rebels don’t come in tanks with russian IDs on them.
Throughout the initial two years of Russian invasion, we have captured hundreds of POWs, russian active duty military and secret services officers.
There was plenty of evidence, and I am sure it was just more convenient to turn blind eye because everyone- except Ukraine - thought Russia is invincible.
“This isn’t fair, this isn’t how it’s meant to be. They were both taken at once.”
Olha dedicated her life to helping children with disabilities. She and her husband, Ukraine’s defender Vitalii, were expecting a child of their own.

"How do you even keep your mental health together?"
"I don't. I lost it a long time ago. Ever since three of my closest friends and my boyfriend were killed. I was the one who recovered his body from the evacuation point."
Ukrainian Defender "Kit" ("Cat") from the Magura Brigade joined the military at the age of 24. Over four years of service, she has fought in some of the war's hottest sectors, including the defense of Donetsk region, the counteroffensive in Zaporizhzhia region, and the Kursk operation.
Kit's boyfriend died defending Ukraine in Donetsk region while carrying out a combat mission.
"One evening, he brought me the wounded and the fallen from the positions, and the very next evening, he was the one being recovered..."
Today, Kit is defending the Sumy region.

Just look at how precise those Ukrainian Flamingos are.
This is VNIIR-Progress plant after yesterday’s Ukrainian attack.
And yet again, this serves as a reminder that when missiles strike apartment buildings and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, it’s not because Russia lacks precision. It’s because those targets are chosen deliberately.
Friends, just a reminder: Vladyslav is an amazing, highly patriotic, and principled Ukrainian athlete who knows firsthand the injustice of the international sports community allowing Russians back into competition — including those who openly support the war and the Russian dictator — while at the same time unfairly disqualifying Ukrainian athletes.
He consistently works to bring attention to this issue, so please give him a follow and tell your friends to do the same. He is one of the voices that deserves to be heard.
Every major AI platform has now shipped managed agents. On the same sandbox-based architecture.
That architecture is wrong. Managed agents don't belong in sandboxes. They belong in functions 🧵👇
Rubio once again complains US-led negotiations between Ukraine and Russia were "unfruitful":
"We invested tremendous amount of high-level time in that conflict over last year. Neither side is prepared to make concessions necessary to reach agreement."
Once again, it is necessary to point out the obvious: when you have a nation trying to murder its neighbors to steal their land, and people just trying to survive, there is no middle ground.
Ukrainians, as the victims of this unprovoked attack, cannot just agree to die under Russian occupation, rot in FSB torture chambers, and be thrown into unmarked mass graves to never be found.
We simply want to live. There is zero room for concessions. As for Russia, they can be forced to stop killing us.
You could bring them to that breaking point much faster than we can do without you, if you finally stopped this disgusting bothsidesism, stopped endless sanctions waivers, seized their shadow fleet, and armed Ukraine to the teeth.
During russia's attack on Kyiv on June 2, Veronika, a mother of two was killed while running with her children to a shelter.
Her sons, aged 2 and 4, were taken to Okhmatdyt children's hospital. The older boy suffered severe bruising and a hematoma. The younger one sustained much more serious injuries: an explosive fracture of his left elbow, multiple wounds to his face and body, and shrapnel embedded in his soft tissues.
The mother did everything she could to save her children. She did not survive. 💔 Everyone who supports russia has our blood on their hands.

"I thought I wouldn't survive the night. I completely broke down and started crying when the explosions became so powerful that they blew open the doors of the shelter," says 13yo Kyiv schoolgirl Valeriia.
Valeriia and her mother, Viktoriia, spent the night sheltering from the massive attack in the basement of a nearby municipal building. When a missile struck their apartment building, the shelter filled with smoke and chunks of plaster began falling from the ceiling.
"There were dozens of people in the shelter, including children from my school. Many were crying. There were so many people that there was hardly any room, so nobody lay down — everyone sat to make space for others. It was the scariest night of my life," says Valeriia, still struggling to stop trembling.
When the air raid alert was finally lifted, the girl returned to her apartment and saw shattered windows and extensive damage.
"The whole building was damaged. I saw ambulances arriving for the wounded. We didn't even pay attention to whether our belongings were intact, because things aren't what matter most. What matters is that we survived," the schoolgirl says quietly.
Shortly after Valeriia and her mother entered their apartment, another air raid alert was announced. The family was forced to take shelter in the building's stairwell because there was no longer enough time to reach the shelter.

Frankly speaking, neutrality is a morally bankrupt concept.
Having studied sanctions evasion and wartime supply chains, I’ve found some facts particularly striking: neutral Switzerland is the leading European supplier of microelectronics that end up in Russian weapons, while another neutral European country, Ireland, is the leading supplier of aluminum for Russia’s war machine.
So that’s what “neutrality” often means in practice.
Just look at these horrific scenes.
Kherson — still home to nearly 60,000 people — has become a living hell.
russia knows it will never retake the city, so it is deliberately shelling civilians to make life unbearable.
Only death and destruction from the aggressor remain.
Russia is waging a genocidal war of aggression to annihilate the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar nations.
No negotiated settlement is possible. There is only a military solution: the total defeat of the russian invaders.
“Liberated,” they said.
Imagine an entire European town wiped off the map.
This is Bakhmut.
Once home to 70,000. More than two years under the “russkiy mir.”
Today — nothing but ruins.
russia doesn’t liberate cities. It erases them. Don’t pretend you don’t understand this.
