The Democratic Republic of the Congo 🇨🇩 is advancing major infrastructure work under a $7 billion package from its revised China mining deal.

A $300 million, 73 km ring road around Kinshasa is under construction by Chinese firms, with full opening set for late 2028.

It aims to ease city traffic and includes several bridges plus a key interchange.

Separately, a road-rail bridge linking Kinshasa and Brazzaville, estimated near $655–700 million with a 1.575 km span and border facilities, is progressing and will improve transport and trade between the two capital cities.
