You're asking FSD to be able to read your mind as when to ignore your MAX speed and when not to, because the user can stop managing the MAX speed at any moment

@WaitWhat You know that FSD needs to work even when the user stops paying attention after setting a MAX speed?
If the MAX speed is set at 40 mph and the speed limit goes from 35 > 55 > 35. How would FSD know if 40 mph is intentional or because the driver stops adjusting the MAX speed?

If Tesla can change your MAX speed when it's higher or lower than what you set, then what's the purpose of your MAX speed then?
