This article published in TOI is not true. Residents have never agreed for shifting the station. We are all firm on our demand of realignment as per the original approved plan.
Thane Says No! Rodas Says No! No Ring Metro through our homes. Go underground or realign behind TCS.
Residents oppose Ring Metro.
Join the silent Protest.
@mieknathshinde In most cities ring metros have been a failure why are we repeating it. Use mini electric buses at great frequency and improved roads is the way to go. Unfortunately we feel the citizens voices are being ignored and this does not augur well for the govt that we elected with hope
Sir - TCS Office at Rodas Enclave Hiranandani Thane has become a noise pollution to all with honking buses and raring DG / Centralized AC Unit outside making the citizens around very unhappy. Approaching you as a last resort with no success with the Admin there

A city has a limit to how much disruption it can absorb.
Multiple road works. Multiple housing development.
Has Thane reached that limit?
#Thane#development#enough
Thane is growing. No one disputes that.
But here’s a simple question:
With Metro 4 still incomplete, the Borivali Tunnel under construction, and the Coastal Road underway, is this the right time to begin another mega project?
Shouldn’t we finish what we’ve started first?
#Thane
Years of construction could choke feeder roads of Hiranandani Estate, while Metro 4 itself remains incomplete.
Better connectivity shouldn’t come at the cost of worsening congestion.

Finish what has been started before starting something new. Non stop work looks more like discomfort than benefit to a common man.
There is no accountability, no deadline only extension of time.
#thane
@SanjayKelkar_ Many thanks for your leadership. I am sure you will help find the right way ensuring citizen concern and development can both be delivered
Well planned metro networks globally integrate stations with commercial zones and transport hubs so commuters reach workplaces easily without disturbing residential neighbourhoods. That’s the benchmark for smart urban planning.

Why should children commute through active construction zones? Keep metro infrastructure away from schools and residential roads. #ChangeTheRoute@TMCaTweetAway
@TMCaTweetAway@ThaneCityPolice Constant construction work going on throughout the night next to TCS building. We the residents here are not able to sleep at all due to the disturbance .
