99% hate natty like the plague, the widow maker has crushed longs/equity related the past 15yrs, I get it. Understand, Utes who’ve had muscle memory about prior gas losses, should have no input regarding the fundamentals today/future but sadly most carry that baggage. A wall of projects comes the next 10yrs, supply ain’t coming under $5 HH.
@garquake@ericnuttall Still haven’t figured out why he would buy Calfrac over Trican? Virtually zero illiquidity and is so thinly traded. Debt vs no debt. No dividend vs dividend.
@JackDan110 Such a scam, all of the roads and subdivisions are built by the developers and paid for by those who buy the lots. After that the city collects significantly more tax $$$ than farmland. Suck it Knack
@JJfromMTL@John_S_Pierce@trend_bullish I look back and I owned a lot of stocks that have gone 500%+ since 2020-2021, these are 2 that I just held, hindsight had I have just held the others I would have done much better, boring but better. I am very heavily invested in $TCW, nearly 400k shares. Not likely for CVE 😂
@John_S_Pierce@trend_bullish@JJfromMTL Sold my $ATH for $12.17 that I purchased just over 5 years ago for $0.61 what’s crazy is I also sold my $MEG that I bought for $2.27 when $CVE bought them for $28ish… thank you Cenovus.
@Dave_Eby How about trying spending less. When was the last time you balanced a budget, 2023 was inherited, before you ask others to make up for your inabilities why don’t you and all other politicians look inward. You are directly responsible for YOUR budget, take accountability.
@RobShaw_BC@Dave_Eby Now I kinda hope Eby gets elected… but then I remembered he never does what he promises to do anyway. Nothing like exporting the very people that create jobs and opportunities. Sounding desperate.
@TeddyGambino@John_S_Pierce Canoe would have done very well on any shares they are selling. I am way more greedy them they are. The big picture is looking better and better. Question is how long will it take.
Canada is celebrating LNG Canada Phase 2 because it reached FID in 12 months.
That is not the same thing as delivering gas in 12 months.
First meaningful volumes are still expected only in the early 2030s.
The Montney opportunity was obvious 15 years ago. The need for LNG is now.
Canada’s problem is not resource scarcity.
It is time-to-market scarcity.

Long-term unemployment in the U.S. is rising at a pace “unprecedented outside recessions” - Bloomberg.
Nearly 1.93 million people have been jobless 27+ weeks (27% of all unemployed). Average job search now exceeds 6 months (mean duration: 26.3 weeks).
But overall unemployment rate: still just 4.1%?
The labor market looks healthy on the surface. Underneath, it’s getting a lot harder to get back in.
That said, line ups in NYC for $60 loaves of sourdough rye bread. 🤷
