@gabsjaquezmuse SOLID defense! I’m sure that’s why Marsh gave her 21 minutes. She was involved in every aspect of play. Not everyone does that! As she starts to make shooting decisions faster, she will shoot more. Note: a vet team put a rookie on Clark 💪🏻. Because she is their best defender 👍🏻

@rmarksbury51 @chicagosky @UChicagoMed this is spot on. selfishness and lousy shot selection. Every time they get a good late lead, they stop playing for a good shot, over-rely on Cardoso (she couldn’t make layups), and have people who want to be the hero (Sloot, Carrington, Cloud). It NEVER works

@gabsjaquezmuse Gabriela spoke briefly. She was asked what was working for her tonight. My read of her response was that she felt it wasn’t appropriate after such a loss to talk about herself, so she hesitated and talked about her defense. It was a high character moment IMO. Impressive poise.
