@LNER Thanks but I know I can get to Grantham from Nottingham. But I have an hour’s wait, on an already very delayed journey and need to get home. Kids, dogs, responsibilities, that sort of thing.
@vueling It’s not that she doesn’t get an answer, it’s that she is told they can’t help her because she doesn’t have a PIR number. There must be someone who knows what to do in a situation like this? If you can DM me a direct number, a name, anything? This is infuriating!
@vueling Question: How do you get a PIR number when you don’t realise how damaged your case is until you’ve left the airport? And when you are refused entry to the lost and found office on your return? What is the back-up process? Need support ASAP please.
@vueling Why is it so difficult to get any support? She has called customer service and all they say is she needs a PIR number. As we’ve explained a million times, she doesn’t have one. Would it be too much for someone to call a 75-year-old woman, who can help. Please!!
@vueling Pls read the message. You need a PRI number. My mother doesn’t have one. How do you sort anything out without a PRI number? She didn’t realise her case was damaged until she’d left the airport and seems impossible to get one. That’s what we need help for.
@vueling No one has phoned her yet. She didn’t contact the lost and found team at the airport because she didn’t realise her suitcase was damaged until they’d left baggage collection. So she doesn’t have a PIR number, and so the online link you keep posting doesn’t work. Please phone her
@vueling my mum’s suitcase was damaged on a flight to Malaga. She didn’t notice until she got the hotel, had to gaffer tape it up to get it back. Couldn’t find anyone to report it to, has gone round in circles as she doesn’t have a PIR number. Who can she speak to asap?
@vueling I’ve sent a DM but she didn’t notice the damage until she’d left the airport. When she tried to speak to someone when she flew home, there was no one available. She’s tried to go through the online service and nothing. Have DM’d you.
@TUIUK just landed at East Mids on TOM4473. Massive thank you to lovely Anjela who noticed my 6ft 4 husband was struggling for leg room and moved him to an empty row. Couldn’t have a bulkhead seat as that costs more but she did what she could.
