@Rashtrabhasha_ The person/s whose photo is there on the poster/banner (though he/she/they may feign ignorance and also shirk responsibility) should be tried for attempted murder
Whoever he/she is or they are!!
@CMOMaharashtra@mieknathshinde
@RBI Mint Colony near the Monorail Station is lying in an unattended & desolate state with wild plants growing - we have snakes coming from that area & entering the housing complexes neighbouring this
Would request that the space is cleared up to prevent issues @mybmcWardFS
Branches of trees alongside the Race Course & the Lower Level E Moses Road are hanging low because of the strong winds & are now precariously placed - also unscientific trimming (read hacking) on only one side has made these off balance & prone to getting uprooted @mybmcWardGS
@mybmcWardGS & the inevitable is happening
Trees are on the verge of getting uprooted
This could have been/should have been prevented
@CMOMaharashtra why can’t this be taken into consideration when allowing roads & buildings to be made??
Please include this scientific approach in policy!
Besides concretisation one of the key reasons there are tree incidents is that they are trimmed (hacked) in an unscientific manner - only one side (say growing over a compound wall) is cut & the other side immediately becomes unbalanced & starts leaning towards a fall
@mybmc
@CyrusDhabhar@MTPHereToHelp These share-a-taxi operators are a total menace all over the city
@CPMumbaiPolice their blatant breaking of rules and driving recklessly needs to be ended
@thevirdas Try Grand Central at Chembur - this coming from a vegetarian who has never & will never consume it but has heard only rave reviews about it!
Hot take? Ban any further foreign dog imports. Those who are here remain here. Ban breeding unless licensed. No more backyard breeders. Adopt indies. Nurture indies. Love our own.
Indies are, after all, made in India. @PMOIndia
Adopt Don't Shop
Thank you, Delhi Metro, @OfficialDMRC for using your massive platform to advertise the adoption of indie dogs and cats over buying from commercial breeders. This is a crucial step toward dismantling a deeply cruel industry.
When people buy that "cute puppy in the window," they rarely see the horrific pipeline that brought it there.
>> Female dogs and cats are treated as mere birth machines.
> They are kept in cramped, unhygienic cages, entirely deprived of socialization or medical care.
> Once their bodies are spent and they can no longer produce profitable litters, they are ruthlessly abandoned on the streets to fend for themselves.
>> For profits, litters are ripped away from their mothers far too early—often while they are still entirely dependent on unweaned milk. This doesn't just traumatize the mother; it deprives the babies of essential antibodies and social conditioning, leading to lifelong behavioral and health issues.
>> The Genetic Nightmare of Inbreeding: Extreme inbreeding for "purebred" aesthetics has created a genetic crisis.
> Labradors: Prone to severe hip dysplasia and early-onset blindness.
> German Shepherds: Suffer from crippling spinal issues and hind-leg collapses.
> Rottweilers & Pugs: Plagued by hereditary bone cancer and severe respiratory distress.
>> It is high time for the government to enforce a strict, immediate ban on commercial pet breeding and shift the entire nation's focus toward a "Adopt, Don't Shop" mandate.
>> By choosing to adopt, you aren't just getting a loyal companion—you are actively starving an abusive industry of its profits.
