Objectively crypto is 99.99% hype and no pmf outside of stable coins (which can all be frozen by the issuers yey!) and DeFi - AMMs are truly amazing. But that’s about it, this doesn’t justify a fraction of the market cap
@CoachDanGo Seriously, I stayed away from watermelon for a while because of high sugar content, but just revisited the nutritional value. Crazy, 80 cals in a side + potassium and anti oxidants! It does some your glucose quite high but very brief

@maraoz Someone pointed out that those custodians have insurance. That's a great point and something I forgot to mention, if you're concerned about that you can buy a Nexus Mutual insurance against your whole deposit, it will probably not cost most than the fees you pay to a custodian
@maraoz By the same token, aren’t custodians also in the same risk category ? If AI is so good that it will hack smart contracts that were honeypots for almost a decade, wouldn’t it be good enough to hack Fireblocks or Bitgo or Coinbase ? Your argument is very single sided here
@levelsio I agree that luxury brands are the dumbest thing in the world. But wealth does not equal higher IQ. So I think luxury brands are going to do just fine

Practically, the only rigorously proven things you can do for life extension right now are:
- Don't be fat
- Be fit
- Control your blood sugar
- Control your blood pressure
- Have low cholesterol
- Don't poison yourself
Almost everything else is speculative and dubious.
