UBC satellite design team participating in the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge. Made up of Engineering, Science, Mathematics and Business students.
A couple weeks ago, we travelled to the Netherlands to participate in the @ESA__Education โFly your Satellite! 4โ selection workshop!
Thanks to @esa for this unforgettable experience! ๐ช๐บ๐(Photo credit for some photos to ESA).
Not quite #SharkTank or #DragonsDen but pitching a student CubeSat mission to experts is a big deal! ๐ฐ๏ธ
๐ 8 student teams recently joined us at @ESA_Tech, for #FlyYourSatellite! 4th edition's Selection Workshop to pitch their projects to ESA experts.

ALEASAT's Engineering Qualification Model going for Belgian waffles, will be back later after being shaken and stirred.
@ubcengineering@ubcappscience w/ SFU Satellite.
Thank you to Keysight for lending us one of their awesome VNAs so we can debug ALEASAT's PA. We and our partners at SFUSat (https://t.co/uHaldyZJgZ) learnt a lot from this experience and were very grateful for the opportunity to use great equipment.

SFU Satellite Design Team and @UBCOrbit have been dedicating countless hours to our latest project and are extremely excited to announce ALEASAT. This would not have been possible without our generous sponsors who have supported us throughout this project.
NASAโs BioSentinel CubeSat will go beyond the Moon to perform the first long-duration deep space biology experiment. Set to launch with the first flight of SLS for #Artemis I, the spacecraft will study the effects of space radiation on yeast cells.

NACHOS have arrived at the @Space_Station aboard a Cygnus spacecraft!
Sadly, these arenโt cheese covered. The Nanosat Atmospheric Chemistry Hyperspectral Observation System (NACHOS-1) is a CubeSat that measures trace atmospheric gasses. https://t.co/VPwEse7cqz
On Jan. 18, 10 @NASA CubeSats were deployed from @Virgin_Orbit's LauncherOne Rocket as part of the ELaNa 20 mission!
These small research satellites were selected through the CubeSat Launch Initiative and are managed by @NASA_LSP based here at Kennedy: https://t.co/HE3MOVIYuC
Here are the first images from space of a CubeSat made by @gtaerospace that was launched in December. The spacecraft, TARGIT, is designed to view Earth's topography and is now in orbit ๐๐ฐ๏ธ
