@WxOntario1 A storm rolled through near Ripon and it had very frequent lightning I reckon they were slow to release this warning, was wondering why on earth it wasnโt warned.
A regionally significant severe weather event is possible in southern Quebec and northern New England on Tuesday, centered around the St. Lawrence River.
A few rotating supercells are possible with large hail and a couple tornadoes.
Windy lines possible too.
Environment Canada seems to believe nothing huge is happening tmrw. Hmm interesting, could be reading it wrong as Iโm used to uk forecasting but we shall see.
Severe weather remains possible across parts of New England on Tuesday.
There remains a considerable amount of uncertainty regarding the timing, coverage and mode of storms, but all hazards appear possible.
It's likely as of now the greatest threat of tornadoes may be in Southern Quebec, with a more organized line moving into New England, producing mostly damaging winds.
However, if the line remains broken with more discrete supercells, the tornado threat will remain fairly elevated with the presence of strong instability and wind shear, even into the evening.
Currently out here in Quebec, Canada near Montebello
Some severe warned thunderstorms rolled through yesterday and here are some of my captures
