Well yeah. My favorite part of Andor is that Gilroy send to know that there is exactly one bad-ass in the entire Imperial bureaucracy and he's not going to show up today.
You get all the weird loser fascists just like real life.
ANDOR creator Tony Gilroy on why Darth Vader does not appear in the series
“No, that was never on my agenda. Writing for Darth Vader is really limiting. I’ve done it. He doesn’t have a lot to say.”

@yiwoozi The steel man version of this argument is actually that fanfic is a Hamburger Helper meal. Homemade, but with IP as a store-bought mix you're using.
The next step is learning to cook without Hamburger Helper.
I'm divesting my time and my value as an advertising demographic from X. I haven't had the app in years, and I have had a 30 min. site timer on this site for about as long.
That's going to zero today. I'm going to hold onto my username for now, though I will not be active here.
I hate "Farewell Twitter" posts so this will be quick.
Posting on here makes money for Blue users and Musk. I want him to bleed, and I already don't own a Tesla (my EV is a Chevy; it's fantastic). If enough of us leave, this site will die. Catch me in bluer skies, I'm out.
All I will say is that it used to be when you lost an election at the top of the ticket, you had a stink on you and could not earn a nomination from anyone.
Leaders don't lose, it's kind of a mandate thing.
@ChronoKatie Personally I kind of think Nintendo should pursue perfecting cel-shading for at least Zelda Mario, DK, and Kirby. It might not fit, say, Metroid (though an anime art style would probably go hard with a Metroid game), but it probably is easier to chase than AAA photo realism.
I don’t care how much you believe you ‘revere’ or love an actor- if you use tech to put words in their mouths or move them at your whim, things they never said or did, you were never actually a fan. You wanted to own them. They never ‘belonged’ to you. Grotesque.
@JenLRossman Oh! I didn't mean there's any huge connection between Colorado Kid and It. I just didn't know, with the different titles, whether you knew there was a King connection.
