@ephraimwindex Most of those hallways weren't CGI though, what are you talking about? Many were blue screened or green screened, but the backgrounds they replaced with miniatures, not CGI, in most cases.

@techhsiren @InquilineKea A related take is that, while using GPT to fill holes in my knowledge, I’ve learned that they were often pretty shallow. So I was a lot closer to knowing a lot of things functionally than I thought. Having an endless full time question answerer is a real power unlock for me.

11 years ago I had a meeting with Marvel Studios about the possibility of doing a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. I remember driving home & thinking I didn't want to make a movie LIKE Star Wars, but a movie that made people FEEL like Star Wars made me feel as a kid. Outlandish characters, extraordinary locations, a space opera with a touch of magic filled with heart.
