It took months to admit I had PTSD from working Covid ED and 2 yrs to get to a better mental space. Thanks NOT to 50+% of America for handing RFK, Oz and Dr Stella Demon Spawn what’s left of our tottering healthcare system. A five star flying monkey shit show of horrors awaits
@SpeakerJohnson mmmm no CRAZY is the current President threatening to annihilate an entire country - good grief call congress back to DC and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT
@AhmedBaba_ OMG for the millionth time - he has a slowly progressive form of dementia that demonstrates itself in his disinhibition and loss of vocab/sentence formation. Its the frontotemporal dementia EVERY DAY
@Craig_A_Spencer daily nightmare in broad daylight. The patient encounters I am having are becoming so difficult. Imma need another line of work before much longer
@maolesen imo there is a lot of unrecognized pulmonary vasculature change - "mild" of course - due to Covid that is causing the flu to manifest differently
@DrEricDing I've had TWO patients with puncture injuries sustained outside decline Tetanus update this month - anti-vax folks walking among us in increasing numbers. The FAFO decade of ID is happening now
@CorsIAQ HCW < 45yo were never taught by and terrified of a battle axe Infection Control RN and it shows. I’ve been masking at work since March 2020, and now certainly not interested in pulmonary cavitations like I saw as an intern early 90’s
@JeffCavanagh1@1goodtern I’m likely just as pissed off and incredulous about other physicians as you are. It didn’t take my daughter getting long Covid for me to care, it was the severity of the first ED patients I saw in March ‘20, and all the secondary complications I had seen by the end of that year.
