@JohnOdermatt Yeah, n=1 and no control group. Really scientific. No control of variables. Which things worked? Which prolonged his illness? We don’t know, that’s why you look at large-scale, randomised, placebo-controlled trials.

@Hjorvik @DegenRolf I agree with your second criticism. This research design doesn’t prove that long arms evolved for fighting. But the hypothesis that they did is def compatible with evolutionary theory. Better fighters would outcompete. Has happened in countless sexually dimorphic species.

@hughjassdevice @LandisWeaver @JamesSurowiecki Being vaccinated lowers your risk of being infected by 5X to 9X. So it lowers your transmission by a similar amount. That’s a huge reduction. Keep in mind that you might be looking for reasons not to feel guilty about posing a risk to others (I’m assuming you’re not vaccinated).
