1866: The Sponsor of the Citizenship Clause speaks:
“This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens...”
Authoritative legislative words from the amendment’s lead advocate.
The charter was never written for automatic citizenship.
This morning, a pastor decided to test the heart of the church he was about to lead
He dressed himself as a homeless man and showed up early, walking around the building for about half an hour while people arrived for service. Out of everyone who passed him… only three people said hello. Most just looked away.
He asked a few people if they had some spare change because he was hungry.
No one gave him anything.
When he walked into the sanctuary, he tried to sit near the front.
An usher asked him to move to the back.
He greeted people as they came in… but was met with cold stares and uncomfortable looks.
No one welcomed him as a visitor.
No one offered a smile.
He could feel people silently saying, "You don’t belong here.”
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for:
The elders stepped up to the podium to introduce their new pastor.
The congregation stood, clapping and smiling, looking around for the well-dressed minister they expected.
But instead…
The “homeless man” in the back row stood up and began walking down the aisle.
The clapping stopped.
The room fell silent.
He walked to the front, took the microphone, paused… and then recited these words:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I was a stranger and you invited me in…”
“Whatever you did for the least of my brothers and sisters,
you did for Me.”
Then he told them who he really was their new pastor.
People began to cry, bow their heads, some unable to look up.
He said,
“Today I saw a crowd… but I did not see a church.
The world has enough people who look the other way.
What we need are followers of Jesus who actually live His teachings.
When will YOU choose to be a disciple?”
And with that, he ended the service.
No sermon needed.
They had already lived it.

SCOOP: We obtained an email from a FIFA fan who purchased a $150 USA sweater at a game. They claim they noticed afterwards that the US flag was stitched UPSIDE DOWN.
They asked for a replacement, and @FIFAcom responded that they can do a return, seemingly only for online orders, as they require an order number and other information, which is not available for an in-person purchase, according to an email we reviewed.
Why are official FIFA shirts being sold with the US flag upside down @FIFAcom??
“If Jesus was God, why was He tempted? God can’t be tempted.”
As an ex-Muslim, back when I argued against the cross, I leaned on this hard.
“God can’t be tempted, so Jesus can’t be God.”
He didn’t get tempted DESPITE being God.
He got tempted so He could beat it where you couldn’t… on your behalf. Check this out:
You’d quote James 1:13: “God cannot be tempted with evil.” True. In His deity, unmovable.
But hear this y’all… He took on a real humanity that faced the full furnace, “one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15.
Every temptation you’ve ever caved to, He faced. And stood.
But why? Why would God march into the wilderness to get hammered by the devil for forty days?
Because there was a first man, Adam, tested in a garden with everything going for him and he FOLDED. And the whole race broke with him. Romans 5:19.
So the last Adam walked into a wilderness with everything against Him — starving, alone — and He held. Where the first man fell, the second Man stood. FOR you.
“For because He Himself has suffered when tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.” Hebrews 2:18.
He didn’t need to win that fight for Himself.
He won it for you (and ME) — because you (AND ME) never could.
His victory in the wilderness is your victory.
Take it and rejoice with Jesus Christ.
Ojalá algún día apruebe una ordenanza en Guayaquil que prohíba de verdad la apropiación de las calles y el cobro ilegal de parqueos.

You don't.

When I was Muslim, I never knew why Paul would call Jesus a curse… turns out you need to understand this HUGE concept:
The Day of Atonement. It actually had TWO goats, and I never understood why until I met Jesus. Leviticus 16.
One goat is slaughtered — its blood sprinkled on the mercy seat to cover sin. Leviticus 16:15.
The other, the scapegoat, has all Israel’s sins confessed over its head, then is driven into the wilderness, “bearing all their iniquities to a remote area.” Leviticus 16:22.
Why two? Because one goat couldn’t show the whole picture.
Sin has to be PAID FOR — that’s the slain goat, the blood.
And sin has to be CARRIED AWAY — that’s the scapegoat, the removal.
For 1,500 years, no single animal could do both.
Then Jesus.
“The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6 — that’s the scapegoat, sin laid on His head and carried away.
“Christ redeemed us… becoming a curse for us.” Galatians 3:13 — that’s the slain goat, the blood that pays.
Two goats. One died. One carried it into oblivion.
Jesus is both. “As far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions.” Psalm 103:12.
Paid in full AND carried away forever. One Lamb did the work of two goats.
JESUS IS KING.
We live in a strange age.
We seem to be 'snapping out of it'.
But there are STILL plenty of people out there who can't 'see' anything until a very popular news or entertainment media figure 'endorses' it for them.
They need to see it playing inside the Matrix, from one of their authority figures.
Until that happens, they will not look.
It is what it is.

Flock cameras have been out up in the Richland Wildlife Management Area in Florida
The location of the flock cameras are in “miles and miles of Florida wilderness with no neighborhoods or shopping centers, subdivisions or traffic lights around — Why are there surveillance cameras here? Why are there license plate readers sitting at the crossroads of a wildlife management area?
Who are they watching? The hunters? People exercising their Second Amendment rights? Families going camping? Fishermen headed to a boat ramp? Because it isn't just here”
“But here's the question that no one seems willing to ask: How much surveillance are we willing to accept? For decades, law enforcement investigated crimes without building massive networks of cameras that record the movements of millions of law-abiding Americans”
I have ferried these cameras are indeed there, and there is literally nothing around the area
They were installed by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office which has also deployed dozens of Flock cameras across the county. From what I can find, over 40 installed on county roads
Law enforcement says there are here for
- Recovering stolen vehicles
- Tracking suspects
- Solving crimes in these rural areas
- General public safety
They look like unnecessary surveillance. There is literally nothing around here
I have included a video that shows just how far these cameras really are from society, it’s shocking
This happened at a mall in Kenya
Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya apparently ordered them to remove the American Flag while the rest of the country flags remained
