#MeteorSighting: A very bright daylight fireball was observed by witnesses from the northeast U.S. and Canada this morning, March 17. An analysis of currently available data places first visibility of the meteor above Lake Erie. The fireball - caused by a small asteroid nearly 6 feet in diameter and weighing about 7 tons - moved southeast at 45,000 mph before fragmenting over Valley City. The fragments continued on to the south, producing meteorites in the vicinity of Medina County, Ohio.

There’s this nice concept called the Regret Minimization Framework... attributed to the great Jeff Bezos.
Great principle to live by...
Except that, whenever I think about it, I start regretting why I hadn’t heard of it much earlier.
Me and my warped brain...
🚨FUN FACT: Today we learned that there is an autist (@KabutoKing_ ) currently collecting every first edition Pokemon Kabuto card in an attempt to gain complete dominance over the Kabuto market. He currently has 1700+ Kabutos and has pumped the market price to over $10 a Kabuto.
More than 30 years after his death, the work of artist, educator and public television icon Bob Ross continues to engage television and online audiences in the U.S. — and across the world.
So when Congress rescinded $1.1 billion allocated for public broadcasting this fall, Bob Ross Inc. saw an opportunity to help fill some of the funding shortfall by selling 30 of his paintings — and the first three are set to be auctioned on Tuesday.

Quantum computers work best in extremely cold and stable environments
Moon’s permanently shadowed craters have:
- Temperatures can drop below -200°C, which helps quantum bits (qubits) work without losing information
- Constant darkness means less energy fluctuations and more stability
- There’s almost no air, water, or electromagnetic noise, so quantum states stay stable longer
🚨 HOLY SMOKES! Right-wing populist Javier Milei won so BIG in Argentina that his party surged its parliament deputies by 172%, from 37 to *101*, and senators by 233%, from 6 to 20.
This is HUGE! He has defied all media expectations by far. 🔥
Official results now in from Argentina…
Javier Milei’s La Libertad Avanza (purple) has 40.8% of the votes, while the Peronist left-wing opposition (blue) has 24.4%.
90%+ counted. An even better outcome for Milei than their most optimistic prediction.
