I am so proud of my friend @AshutoshRanka who led the CJP protest. Of his courage, his conviction, and the model of citizenship he represents.
When another friend asked me “What are such people made of?”, I wanted to attempt an answer. So wrote this essay.
Link in next tweet.
Ranka left a comfortable life in London because he refused to be a bystander.
Now he's in jail. Our turn now.
To those keeping him there: you can lock him up. You can’t make him stop caring about this country. Dekh lena. I know my friend.
Release Saurav and Ranka. NOW.
Just tell the truth. The girl said aloud what everyone including the regime's chronic sycophants wanted to say at least once, for a very long time, and now y'all just mad that she said it first with a spine.
During the early hours of July 20, when we informed the police about the truck, we were laughed around and told that it’s an MCD truck carrying debris.
Hmm…
Journalists like Avdesh don't get these stories sitting on twitter or in studios & whining. It takes days of digging, going from place to place & perseverance. Its not an easy job. We don't ass-kiss governments and billionaires. We ask YOU. Support journalists like Avdesh. Click here

Remember the truck full of stones that appeared near the CJP protest site in Jantar Mantar?
@ImAvdheshkumar traced the vehicle with its registration number. It was not a stray truck: the Delhi Police had seized it four days earlier

Optimizing the use with the right prompting and doing hacks is the only way left for me right now as I am already have multiple 60$ and 20 dollars plans, Things will be like this ... till we have low enough token costs that it actually starts making me a 100× developer.
Those who are experimenting and claiming on Twitter that they are running 24×7 ClawdBot, multiple Claude Code, etc.... where is the cost coming from for them?
How much are they spending? And how are they funding this?
It’s personal money, right??
Cost is one variable that most of the people ... I would call them hobbyists .. are ignoring. The most important factor for me in not using Cursor or Claude Code too heavily is cost. I cannot keep it running with lots of token cost, that too running multiple instance of it.
What a tragic place we find ourselves in as a nation. At a time when a shared existential crisis like #AirPollution should have become the one flag capable of UNITING us, cutting across ideology, class, caste, faith, and political affiliation, we seem more fractured than ever.
A peaceful protest on a question as fundamental as the right to breathe should have been a reminder of the India we once aspired to be: a people who could stand together when life and liberty itself was at stake. But today, even that is too much to ask.
The police, instead of protecting citizens, are deployed to quell them. Protestors who gather at a “designated protest site” are treated as irritants, as threats, as people whose presence must be dispersed rather than be heard. How have we reached a point where asking for breathable air is seen as dissent, and dissent is seen as a provocation?
Do the police and the netas truly not recognise that this air kills us all? Hindu, Muslim, rich, poor, migrant, professional, politician? This is not partisan—this is POISON! Why is it that we are so comfortable with the idea of slowly mass-poisoning ourselves, of watching our own children breathe toxicity, of normalising the slow violence that chokes millions every day in what are to be “cancer hubs” soon.
What explains this profound intolerance towards people who gather peacefully, who simply want their leaders to SEE them, HEAR them?
And so I wonder if this fracture is new at all? Perhaps we were always a broken society. Centuries of divide and rule, a rigid caste order, the routine dehumanisation of each other: they have not gone away. They have simply evolved, finding new forms and new justifications in our politics, our policing, our public institutions. Today’s state of affairs was not born suddenly. It was seeded long ago, fertilised by indifference, practiced by arrogance and a refusal to acknowledge one another’s DIGNITY.
And so we must ask: Is this how a civilisation unravels? Not with war or invasion, but with the quiet collapse of EMPATHY. With leaders blinded by political short-sightedness. With institutions that no longer value a human life. And greatest of all, with a public that has learned to look away, even as the air turns to poison?
Is this the nation we have become?
Or worse, was this the nation we always were?
I have emailed this letter to the Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi sir. Sharing it here and tagging @PMOIndia so it reaches him without fail. Delhi-NCR cannot keep breathing like this. We need unified, urgent action now.

@bhash He has cracked the way to generate views and gain popularity. Say controversial things to gather eye-balls even if baseless. Recently he started doing it a lot. Nice thing.

I wish someone told me this when I was starting my career ⚡
1. Do not think that a working code = task done
2. Do not re-invent the wheel
3. Do not think of handling infinite scale on day 0
4. Do not form a strong bias towards any db, framework, language
5. Do not believe that more abstractions = more readability
Some time back, I published a short video talking about and elaborating on these 5 pointers that I believe software developers should avoid at all costs.
