Condyloma acuminatum it is. 😊
Low-risk HPV ISH was positive (not shown).
Diffuse CK5/6 staining and negative GATA3 favor condyloma. In contrast, low-grade papillary urothelial carcinoma typically shows CK5/6 staining confined to the basal layer, while GATA3 may be positive in both entities.
A practical tip from literature (👇): If HPV ISH is unavailable, the CK5/6 staining pattern can provide a useful clue.

Knowing the normal pattern of your stains is important.
Beta catenin is an example.
Normally, beta catenin is membranous. Only with Wnt activation, does it have cytoplasmic and/or nuclear staining.
In this Papillary Craniopharyngioma, this beta catenin is “not positive”
Elastofibroma
Benign Soft Tissue Tumor usually in Lower Scapula
F>M, usually in their 70-80s
Look for abnormal elastic fibers, collagenized stroma, and bland looking fibroblasts (among other things)

Fellow #hemepath friends. For just $5 a month, perhaps @elonmusk will allow you have a "wreath granuloma" badge on your handle?
If not, just remember @DennisOMalleyMD when you see this and remember IgG4 adenopathy.
