Roles around jobs to be done will always be the way. The definition of what jobs to be done are will change.

However the roles you outlined make less sense because it feels you are handing off the future burden of past decisions to someone else and it might lead to sub optimal decisions and misaligned incentives. Not saying the frontend and backend split made sense either

@chamath Anthropic's product packaging and pricing can become their Achilles' heel. It's all fun and exciting when you build fast and better than ever before but after the initial boost you saturate what else can you build. what value it provides and what cost.

For successful tech founders still running their companies there is a new opportunity. Think about how your company can be strategic to the free world. Investors in the short run won’t reward you for these efforts but in a long run knowing you helped to build the America of tomorrow is reward enough. That example is of an agent going all over the internet to answer your example question does not make sense. That's not how an agent operates.

I do believe there will be disruption to the way software is used because today while they have a good system of record and capability to solve the job to be done the way one accomplishes it continues to be challenging and UX one size fits all does not work.

It is often better to have agent interact with software vs myself

This is exactly the realization I had about 16 months back. Seeing how AI is going to fundamenrally change how products and businesses get built one cannot sit on the sidelines.

I started my own business and as a solo developer, product manager, marketer and UX designer. The constraints have bred immense amount of creativity and learnings.

To adapt to this new way I believe the future CPTO needs to be
1. Multi-disciplinary
2. Build Hands-On
3. Be able to lead a small team as a player coach
