“The Narrows” - @SuperRare. This particular shot has never been taken before. Taken at almost 3 miles above NYC in a 🚁 with the doors open. The pilot had to be on Oxygen to legally and safely pilot the aircraft. This is the result of a highly planned and coordinated photo shoot.
As a trailblazing woman leader, #AmujaeLeader & Mayor of Freetown @yakisawyerr is setting the tone for transformative leadership at the city level. Attending the @ClintonGlobal#CGI2022 recently, she discussed the role of cities in the fight against #ClimateChange.
A big day for #AI in life science. Release of >200 million predicted 3D protein structures from open-source #AlphaFold, nearly the entire protein universe

Capping our series on AI and Procurement, @AshleyCasovan and @var0101 of @ResponsibleAI advocate for a risk-based approach to AI procurement, which assigns a risk level to an AI system based on the results of an organization’s AI impact assessment. https://t.co/zBq4k6yHA2
New series on #AI & procurement featuring a wide-ranging exchange of ideas by @AshleyCasovan, @az_jacobs, Carlos Ignacio Gutierrez, Cary Coglianese, @dchenok, @DMulliganUCB, David Rubenstein, @JTillipman, @realjoshkroll, Lavi Ben Dor, Tim Cooke & @var0101. https://t.co/9uvWXXSLHn
We need to do much more to tackle climate change, but there is some good news for once.

I think about this article a lot. Improving indoor air would alleviate burden, disability, & death from all airborne illnesses (including flu, covid, future covid variants, future new pandemics). Instead, most western leaders have given up & normalized it

Controlling plasma that's 1 million degrees Celsius isn't easy. @MIT researchers are using machine learning to model the space in fusion devices where plasma meets the wall that contains it. Simulations will move us towards using fusion to produce energy: https://t.co/BwCwcNVG40
"Items found at Great Zimbabwe have long astonished archaeologists. A Ming dynasty teapot, a Persian pot inscribed with Arabic script, glass from Syria, cowrie shells from the Indian Ocean—all attest to its connection to an international trading network."
Great opportunity to share our perspective on #ResponsibleAI with the @nytimes these systems are a great first step but could greatly benefit from being formalized and independently reviewed.
India's net-zero by 2070 pledge means that 84% of global CO2 emissions are now covered by net-zero targets
