I tried taking a loan from @HomeLoansByHDFC to invest in a Real Estate.

My paperwork was in place. But, it took them 23 days just to give me a DD number, which I could put on the sale deed.

It got to a point, where I said: screw it, I will just pay with the money I have. And, I cancelled my loan. They had been calling me ever since.

I have 5 accounts with them (HDFC Bank). Now, I will be down to 1.

I realised fairly quickly: like with investments, even your banking/finance partners should be very diversified.
