A heartfelt condolence to every common banker — especially clerks & officers — who silently suffer every day.

The pain isn’t from illness, but from a system that’s failed them.

It’s been over a year since #5DayBanking was agreed in the 12th BPS (Mar 2024).
But forget implementation, there’s not even a ray of hope ⚫

Despite working tirelessly — even on Sundays — neither the Labour Ministry, Finance Ministry, nor PMO is listening.
Every ear is deaf. Every voice is suppressed.
Unions — who were meant to protect — have now become silent spectators
Beating the drum of “victory” 🥁 while common bankers’ lives are shredded daily.

Clerks, Officers, Managers — the backbone of PSBs — are exploited, while the ‘malai’ of PLI goes to management fat cats 🧈

Where is the justice ⚖️?

Ethics are collapsing
Bankers are forced to convert accounts to PMJDY, debit for PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY — without customer consent ❌

Head Office says: “Don’t do it”
But ROs & COs say: “Do it or face action” ⚠️
Explanation letters rain like bullets

And the life of a banker?
No work-life balance
No peaceful weekends ❌
No proper schooling for children
No care for ageing parents
Just pressure, targets, fear & silence.

Why this silence?
Because there is FEAR
Fear of transfers
Fear of targeting
Fear of crushing by corrupt union leaders.

From Maharashtra to Karnataka, bankers are beaten — for speaking Hindi, for collecting loans, for being on duty.
And the system?
Looks away.

If you’re not close to union leaders, your transfer/posting is based on luck or God’s mercy 🎲

A job that once gave pride now gives pain
New recruits — who studied day & night — are quitting in despair
Others are being thrown out in the name of cost-cutting ✂️

Where is the Government?
Where are the Unions?
Where is Humanity?

The clock is ticking ⏰
This is not just frustration — it’s a ticking bomb 💣

How many lives must be lost before someone acts?
