Yes. But the pressures on staff for quick results that can be “proven” mean data is often misused. Pressures and priorities of schools/educational bodies need to change before anything else can, surely?

Problems occur when we take data from an assessment and use it for something other than the intended purpose eg taking data to measure S attainment and using it to measure teaching effectiveness. #assessment #markingandfeedback
