@wood2energy @AmericanFietser The gas tax has not increased since 1993 and it's a fixed amount/gallon, not a percentage. So the increase in costs to maintain roads (inflation and other) since 1993 are not being accounted for.

@stevedavid @emilytakesnotes City Council could certainly provide supplemental funding to METRO. A transit grant that is only available to the largest transit provider in the City of Houston, for example. :)
