Now that we have lots of vyper-pilled developers, its time to talk about how one can fund this development.
The simplest approach is via the @vyperlang vefunder @CurveFinance gauge, which assign $CRV inflation directly to vyper core devs.
Users can also vote via @ConvexFinance
@vyperlang is hiring! Efforts by the @CurveFinance community via the @vefunder endeavour has helped enable this.
This is a very important position, so I would love it if you spread the word around!
so. finally releasing 0.3.2(!)
the main goal for this release was full ABI compatibility with solidity. all solidity interfaces are now natively supported in @vyperlang!
(also we put in the work to support a non-EVM backend. so that should be dropping soon!)
Funding Ethereum's base layer development in a sustainable and neutral way is one of the hardest problems in crypto. Here's a proposal to @LidoFinance to fund the Protocol Guild -an initiative by many Ethereum core devs & researchers- for a one-year pilot.

Figuring out how to sustainably fund public goods in the crypto ecosystem with large amounts of money could one day lead us to abolishing nation states and the taxes that come with them.
Always be thinking bigger.
This is an important milestone for the Protocol Guild: the first formal proposal to allocate funding to the mechanism!
We are excited to hear feedback from the CRV community, thanks to @vefunder for making it possible
First official Protocol Guild funding governance proposal 🥳 Absolutely *huge* props to @trent_vanepps for stringing this group together 👏 Expect more of these to pop up soon 👀
Stoked to have this go live, thanks for the other co-authors for their support on it
If you're an active CRV community member, please let us know what you think and vote! 🙏

Anon,
Did you know, @vyperlang already accrued 225 $CRV in their fundraising gauge and set to recieve 10k by end of this epoch? Huge thanks for the chads who showed up to vote funding @vyperlang research.
We are just getting warmed up.👀
On March 19th, the very first Fundraising Gauge & veFunder proposal was submitted for @vyperlang team.
The Genesis Gauge, with max emission of 2M $CRV, was passed to fund Vyper 5 Smart Contract Language development. Emissions from this gauge would be funding @vyperlang R&D 🚀
@0xngmi We believe large communities & established protocols should be supporting foundations of this scene. Supporting teams/projects without damaging their autonomy & neutrality is crucial. Insightful discussion to follow , thanks for starting it. Until we all win 💚💪🏼
