Dopo il lancio di ieri, il resoconto finale del primo giorno di opzioni sul #Bitcoin ETF $IBIT è di $ 1,9 miliardi di dollari di esposizione nozionale negoziata tramite 354.000 contratti, di cui 289k Call e 65k Put.

Queste opzioni hanno quasi certamente contribuito ai nuovi massimi storici di ieri pomeriggio.

Tuttavia, il limite di posizione a 25.000 contratti imposto dalla Sec e dalla CFTC sarà probabilmente un peso sui volumi e Open Interest per il prossimo futuro (alla fine Gensler è riuscito a dare fastidio fino all’ultimo); ad esempio infatti, il nozionale negoziato ieri sull’ETF GLD sull’oro è stato di circa 5 miliardi di dollari.

Detto questo, le nuove opzioni sono sicuramente un successo per il settore #Crypto

E se andiamo ad analizzare il posizionamento degli investitori emerso dall’attività di ieri, emerge che:

- la scadenza più negoziata è stata la 20DEC 2024, che ha registrato il volume più alto sulle Call strike 65 dollari, che riflette un prezzo spot di bitcoin di circa 115.000 dollari.

- flussi molto intensi sugli strike ATM Call $53 e $55, scadenza 17JAN ‘25

Ciò implica che il mercato è molto rialzista su bitcoin e scommette sul fatto che chiuderà l'anno ben oltre i 100.000 dollari.

Durante la conferenza stampa a palazzo Chigi, ieri il viceministro Leo ha annunciato un provvedimento che prevede l’aumento della ritenuta sulle plusvalenze generate dalla compravendita di criptovalute in Italia dal 26% al 42%.

Questo è un “unicum” e fa dell’Italia uno dei paesi con la tassazione su #bitcoin e #crypto più alta al mondo.
