I went to the doctor with an infected toenail. It was red, hot to touch, weepy and so painful I was limping. The doctor asked me if I wanted treatment so my toe would look nice again in sandals!

@piersmorgan @champneys My Mum. After working 30+ years with the NHS she was meant to retire in Nov 2020. She postponed it for 6 months and finished in April 2021. Despite “retiring” she’s been volunteering at vaccination centres at least once a week since. True hero.
