@TimesRadio@miriam_cates@Chloetilley This is my area’s ex MP. Note her lack of medical qualifications and recent suspension for serious misconduct.. Not sure why the times would give airtime?!
I am immensely proud that the NHS I work in is one of the most multi-ethnic and diverse organisations in the world.
NHS colleagues and emergency workers from many countries and faiths work around the clock to serve every UK community. You have my utmost appreciation and respect.
Our biomarkers will include Actim Partus to be introduced soon (we are also developing a quantitative version with Actim) and other measures of cervical stiffness (Pregnolia). Please do retweet.
Today we mark 100 days of a tragedy.
7 October: an attack by Hamas and other armed groups in #Israel. 1300 people killed, more injured. Appalling reports of gender violence. Hostages seized — around 130 still in captivity, many needing medical care. Families desperate for the release of their loved ones.
A massive humanitarian crisis in #Gaza driven by Israel’s military response followed, and is still ongoing. More than 24,000 Gazans killed — 70% women and children; more injured, many grievously.
Following over 300 attacks on health and continuous lack of safe access to critical aid, the majority of hospitals in the Strip have stopped working. The 15 facilities that are still working can only provide limited health care.
Health workers in Gaza are labouring heroically in shocking conditions.
Patients facing avoidable amputations due to the health system’s destruction. Those with serious chronic conditions are dying due to the lack of care. Diseases are spreading among a population forced to crowd into ever smaller spaces, with little clean water or access to sanitation.
@WHO, @UN and partners repeatedly stymied from providing the aid so critically needed.
People in Gaza are living in hell. Nowhere is safe. 100 days, and counting, of incessant insecurity and fear is beyond words.
Everything must be done to end the violence to prevent more needless death and injury.
Release the hostages now.
#CeasefireNOW.
.@countybroadband please can you let me know the phone no. for your dedicated bereavement department? I’ve been trying to contact you without success. My father has died suddenly & I am trying to change details on their account to enable my mother to access alerts & statements.
@DrBenLovell This ⬆️ x 1000000!! This frustrates me ++ when people complain about “lack of training”. Yes, lack of structured teaching can be problematic but being on call, done right IS training!!
