My Mother and Father bought the “Aroma Tea & Coffee” in 1984. My dad was a plumber and this was his first and only market stall he owned and for over 20 years they along with lots of staff, too numerous to mention worked and loved St John’s Market. They made lifelong customers who became friends and some of whom still come to the café. When my dad passed I had to hire a bus for those wanting to attend his funeral, young and old.
St John’s has a soul and it’s earned its right to remain a part of the fabric of Liverpool and no “here today gone tomorrow politicians” have the right to remove it and especially not Labour politicians!
