@HTLGIFestival Can you please get back to me via email about the fast passes and event tickets where you have taken the money but not reserved the places?? You said you would sort this out yesterday morning but now just silence - apart from many comms telling me everything is selling out fast!
@metpoliceuk Please do comment on this and tell me - what do I tell my teenage daughter now? What do we actually do if things don’t feel right if stopped by police? There was a comment further up suggesting having the right to request a female attending officer, or at least a second officer?
For those young men I wish it were different. For the rest of us I thank them for the hope, the hours spent laughing with my youngest son, the time making special occasions out of ordinary days, the laughs, dreams and decency. They delivered it all. It was a blast
@janemerrick23 We do this too now my 9 year old and me, in London for 40 mins every morning . We chat about where the pubs got their names, who is buried in the graveyard and look out for those things in the pavement that say “water” and “gas”. All the things you never notice unless you walk..
So pleased to see this. This book is wonderful.

Can @DevonCC really leave an unprotected open manhole like this in a street with no pavement and heavy pedestrian use in Sidmouth (Millford Rd)? You couldn’t even see it in the rain earlier @DevonAlert@BBCTravelSW#someonemightdie
2020 marks 20 years since Palgrave Macmillan revived the Palgrave name, continuing a long Macmillan tradition of publishing leading thinkers in the humanities and social sciences. Over the next weeks we will be celebrating #Palgrave2020.

From Guardian, letter from Andy Stuart of Rye E Sussex: "I suggest Bristol replaces Edward Colston w a different statue every day to honour an individual whom Colston “shipped”. It would be 233 years before plinth became empty again. That is the enormity of the man’s inhumanity."
@BCredibility I think 3 of them are from the Routledge Classics series but can’t see which ones - could be Durkheim, Popper, Levi Strauss - more highbrow than you might think
