@stevemagness Major reason kids participate in sport = To have fun
Major reason kids quit sports = It’s not fun
“Fun” is highly subjective. Given the sky high dropout rates, adults (parents and coaches) are obviously not doing a good job with understanding what kids perceive as “fun”.
@mboyle1959@BodybyBoyle Your staff probably want to be better as well. So is the apology for the desire to improve, or is it for the way feedback is delivered?
@StuartMcMillan1@SSCSantry@ALTIS@TommyJMooney@ColmBourkeLJ@DerekGriffin86 The methods to develop a stable skill are pretty straightforward (probably the main outcome of traditional training approaches). Do you view movement adaptability as uniquely trainable as well? Seems more difficult to pin down a stimulus-adaptation model for that.
@RICH_AgilityLab@NSCA This would probably elevate its value due to the exclusivity & built-in QA controls. But having fewer CSCS coaches doesn’t align well with its current status as a baseline qualification for most roles - which will increase in military & gov’t sectors over the next decade.
