We've had better consumption, which is boosted obviously by the adjustments that have been made in the new income tax slabs that were introduced in the last Union Budget. The capex spent by the government. Also, I think the private sector industries, the capacity utilisation have been doing very well. Rural demand has really done well as well. It's a broad-based growth in pretty much all the sectors, led of course by services, also in manufacturing, construction, and agriculture. So all the areas have seen good growth over there..."
#WATCH | Delhi | On 25% additional US tariffs on India from August 27, Director General, FICCI, Jyoti Vij says, "... Our macroeconomic parameters are quite strong. Our growth rate is the highest among many other countries... The government is doing a lot of work towards ease of doing business and decriminalisation... This will further boost our economy... This is no doubt a big challenge for us, but we can overcome it by doing all the reforms we are already undertaking..."
