@TiroTypeworks A related version, I heard in Mumbai suburban trains, individual speaking Hindi, Marathi, English… sentences one after other. When they want to request something they use Hindi, but if shouting is needed, English or Marathi is used 😀.

@TiroTypeworks Photoshop 23.0 is shipping with HarfBuzz 2.8.1 ( Photoshop Help/SystemInfo gives this info), not sure whether it was bug fixed in latest HarfBuzz. Any way, we will take it as bug and look into it. Let me which font can reproduce this bug.

Please set app.textPreferences.shapeIndicAndLatinWithHarbuzz = false; and run the same script again
