In Dec 2023, IBA & bank unions agreed to a 5-day workweek, but govt approval is still pending. @nsitharaman @PMOIndia @DFS_India @RBI @FinMinIndia @NITIAayog
This change would reduce burnout, boost productivity & align banking with modern work standards.
