🚨Baramati Crash: A Fatal Chain of Errors and Conditions

Ajit Pawar died in a tragic aircraft crash near Baramati, caused not by a single failure but by a deadly combination of weather, infrastructure limits, and operational risk.

What Went Wrong, n Brief :

🔹Dense fog over the Pune–Baramati region reduced visibility to critical levels.
🔹Baramati airstrip lacks ILS, forcing a manual, visual landing.
🔹The first landing attempt was aborted, indicated by a wide corrective turn.
🔹A second attempt was made under poor visibility; the pilot issued a MAYDAY call.
🔹The airstrip is a table-top runway, offering no margin for error.
🔹At around 100 feet altitude, the aircraft lost balance and stability.
🔹The plane hit the ground near the runway edge, short of the runway.
🔹Impact triggered a major explosion and intense fire, making rescue impossible.

This was a classic accident chain:
Dense fog + no ILS + small table-top runway + manual landing + low-altitude instability.

The DGCA investigation is ongoing, and the final cause will be confirmed in its official report.
