One of the worst experience in Chennai about @MtcChennai bus corporation. I am waiting at Vadapalani depot more than 1 and half hours theres is no 5E buses on 15.05.2026. Asked the time keeper he says, "when it comes board" otherwise book rapido
A concerned railway passenger has shared this video from Yeshwanthpur Railway Station.
Severe crowding continues to be a major concern here, and there appears to be little focus on passenger movement and safety management. Authorities must act before a stampede-like situation arises, god forbid.
How are these issues being addressed @drmsbc@GMSWR@RailMinIndia@VSOMANNA_BJP

Eight hours after your tweet, banners are still present in your constituency Maduravoyal with your faces on it…. #TVK cadre have no regards for the statement issues by its general secretary N Anand. Will the party take action?

With a new government taking over, hopefully there will be some regard for the law. Chennai was earlier famous mainly for unregulated autorickshaw fares. It is now notorious for lack of usable footpaths. Boiling oil cauldrons are allowed on pavements!

Best Wishes to @TVKVijayHQ on a big victory, and for smooth government formation. We look forward to rapid measures, clean and efficient governance. There's a lot to be done, and we will highlight the issues as we go along! @gm_madras@TOIChennai@dsureshkumar@Arappor
Both #footpaths outside Bombay High Court dug up.
No barricading on one side. Other side fully blocked. No safe passage. No clear diversion.
So #pedestrians are pushed onto heavy traffic.
That’s how pedestrians become the lowest priority in the system.

Situation at Silk Board metro station at 6:00 pm today - just after one rain! #BangaloreRains
It’s the same spot that was heavily water logged in May 2025. Looks like nothing has been done to avoid such situation again. vc: Twitter follower.
A KSRTC bus came at high speed in the Rajajinagar Underpass and crashed into bikes. Fortunately, there is no loss of life, but multiple two-wheelers are damaged.
Around 20+people are trying to reach emergency numbers 112 and 100, but there is no response @BlrCityPolice

This is very welcome. Equally, all citizen services should be available within a time frame with online only application. CMDA should be sent to the dry cleaners, tangedco needs some shock therapy. All parks should end entry, photo fees. Green Chennai now!

There is a very simple fix to footpath riding, but my account will most likely get suspended for stating it out loud.
Physical violence is a powerful tool to bring the unruly masses under control and establish order.
This two-minute video captures the reality of #Bengaluru beyond headlines or political narratives of being India’s IT capital.
No footpaths.
Footpaths taken over by garbage.
Abandoned vehicles.
Sewage on the streets.
Broken roads.
Oversized political posters choking already congested roads.
The entire area stinks of urine and shit
This isn’t a one-off stretch. This is near Banashankari bus stand, a route I take every single evening with my 10-year-old daughter.
We proudly call Bengaluru cosmopolitan and people-friendly. But will those words hold meaning for the next generation if this is the reality they grow up seeing?
She recently asked me, “Isn’t there a better place in India to move to?”
I didn’t have an answer.
@DKShivakumar this is not about perception anymore. It’s about lived reality. It makes me cry to see what our city is going through. When will it shake you up?!
