@Jason It's very expensive to take out per-boat with missiles, and if they get too close with enough boats, it risks a USS Cole-like situation. Need to keep them far away to mitigate the risks. Think Siege Tanks and Zerglings from StarCraft.

@BeeTee2887 If you're concerned about the bar and upright, the VTS Lite can be modified as a smith machine that attaches to the upright and uses your bar. Kaizen DIY gym (on YouTube) also was messing around with plastic add-ons to the bar to help prevent damage (may have just been PVC pipe)
