June 10, 42 migrants were intercepted and housed in the Tanji Retention Center. The GRCS team quickly mobilized to provide humanitarian assistance in terms of first aid, distribution of hygiene kits and clothing, food, temporal shelter, #PSS and #RFL services.
One of our staff @bambas88 is among the teams in the field assessing communities affected by recent windstorm.
He said "Neither the rain, nor the windstorm or even the river can stop us from reaching out to the vulnerable people, because the humanitarian imperative comes first."
